Lead sinkers? good luck charms? Whatever, they are soldier modified minie balls to be used for something other than shooting. It was common for soldiers to wear bullets around their necks or to use them as sinkers on fishing lines. These battlefield finds are clearly evidence of soldier ingenuity.
