Rare wartime handwritten letter from Brigadier General David Gregg, who commanded the Union extreme right at Gettysburg. The letter is addressed Head Quareters, 2nd Div. Cav. Corps, Sept. 15, 10:00 P.M. (1863). It is adressed to Lt. Col. C.R. Smith, Chief of Staff. In the letter he discussed the "enemy here may make a strong push in the left of my line."
