Leather Items:
If this rig could talk...clearly it saw the elephant. This phenomenal
Confederate small style roller buckle belt rig, complete with a
narrow leather belt, double loop cap box and a wonderful local made
confederate leather holster. The .31 caliber pocket colt with all
matching numbers (sn 100037) 1855 production with significant cylinder
scene remaining. The revolver is gorgeous, fully functional with
matching grips and virtually no pitting. There is an old repair on the
belt...possibly period repair. All stitching is tight other than a small
place near the trigger guard, there are no tears in the leather and
the cap box is still lined with lamb's wool, however, there is a partial
tear on the clasp. This is a wonderful representative Confederate
piece. As evidenced by the Johnny Reb in the photo, he proudly wears
his nearly exact rig. Additional pics of the pocket colt are listed in
the handgun section. (kb22951) $2795
