BAYONETS:
Model 1853 Enfield, left side of
socket has a slight flattening from
possible projectile impact?? blade
has been soldier shortened and has
slight upward turn. This piece is
non-dug or early pick-up, but it
definitely has seen the elephant.
This is not a cadet bayonet. (bs0601)

M1816 US Bayonet, very clean metal,
very little rust. there is a significant
bend in the neck...it looks like
someone tried to prior open or
leverage something with the blade.
US SM on the throat of the blade
